The beginning of BALIQS - Crafted to Care is found by Germaine Veenstra, a dutch expat that works in Indonesia. While traveling for her work, she came into contact with local designers and craftworkers during her trip. She had a beautiful product in her hand what looked like a work of art. It made her realize that this wonderful heritage should be exhibited in all parts of the world. With this product you honoring the masterpieces and learn more about their roots, inspiration and tradition. We support Balinese designers and craftworkers from under developed communities with product training, building a safe working space and fair pay. Our mission is to build a sustainable factory for the local community that works for BALIQS - Crafted to Care.
